About

Kelsey Pierson is an illustrator, artist, and architectural designer whose work is deeply informed by her Chinese-Trinidadian heritage. Her practice centers on intimate storytelling, rich yet intentional color palettes, and contemplative beauty.

With a foundation in architecture, Kelsey approaches illustration through an iterative, concept-driven process that prioritizes depth, clarity, and emotional resonance by blending traditional materials with refined digital detailing. Her work often explores the diffusion of hope and stillness as quiet acts of resistance and renewal.

She currently resides in Seattle, Washington, where she shares her home with her cat, Yue.
